Shelly Goldfarb
Ohio Project Director
Shelly Goldfarb, M.Ed. is CSEE’s Ohio Project Director. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a BS in Elementary Education in 1989 and a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in 1994 with an emphasis in Health Promotion and Education. For the past 14 years Shelly has worked with non-profit organizations teaching health education programs to students, parents and teachers in many schools and community centers in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. Shelly has worked with the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati, Discover Health Adventures in Learning, the Ohio Prevention and Education Resource Center, and the University of Cincinnati developing and implementing health education, prevention and promotion to the public. Her philosophy of "health" is the interrelated aspects of mind and body. Her current work is focused on helping schools and school systems develop an environment and programs to facilitate student and staff well-being—academically, socially, emotionally, and physically.
